Beacon Damaged and Repaired
Airport beacon damaged during November windstorm A windstorm in November played havoc with the airport. Power was out starting on the weekend and back on the following Thursday. A power surge damaged the beacon. A motor on the tower and a photo conductor on the ground were damaged. The repair was complete on 12/16/2020.
JetA Fuel Tank Replaced and Filled
New JetA Fuel tank Filled 12/21/2020 The new JetA fuel tank was installed on 11/24/2020. The emergency shut off was installed on 12/11. The fire marshal inspected the system on 12/16. Fuel was added to the tank on 12/21/2020/

Fuel tank emergency shut off installed 12/11/2020 To meet fire code regulations we installed an emergency fuel shut off for the JetA and both 100LL pumps. The requirement is that the shut off be more than 20 ft and less than 100 ft from the fueling stations. You’ll find it between pump 1 and pump …
